Gran Casa Alvaro
For larger groups, Alvaro’s mountain chalet is perfect. With seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, this place can handle up to sixteen guests. The property is straight out of a scene from Yellowstone and Martha Stewart wouldn’t know where to begin with the kitchen and the multiple living rooms. There’s a grill inside and out, two fireplaces and central heating.

Onai
Probably the coolest place to stay in the sweetest ski town in the world. Owned and operated by the legendary Chilean freerider Chopo Diaz, Onai is not your average hostel. Nestled in the forest next to a river at the base of a huge mountain, you’ll think you died and went to Boho Heaven. The rooms are cozy, the decor is thoughtful and the vibe is excellent. One of the best kitchens on the planet and the most inviting, comfortable living room in hostel history.

Casa Tranquila
This cozy hideaway is pure Hygge - warm, rustic, and deeply comforting. Built with wood salvaged from a 1985 shipwreck and insulated with sheep’s wool, it features a cozy pellet stove and a private, wood-fired hot tub just outside the back door. A generous loft bed plus two snug bunks make it ideal for up to 4 guests.

REFUGIO FARELLONES
Situated high above Santiago in the iconic ski village of Farellones, this luxurious boho-chic refuge offers some of the most breathtaking sunset views in the Andes. With five bedrooms, 15 beds, and three bathrooms, this stunning mansion comfortably hosts up to 10 guests and blends alpine elegance with expansive mountain panoramas.

Roca Negra Mountain Lodge
There’s a section of Las Trancas called Shangri-La. If ever a place should be named for a fictional utopia in a peaceful valley, it’s here. Deep in the heart of this remote, isolated paradise surrounded by high mountain peaks is Roca Negra Mountain Lodge. Equipped with saunas, jacuzzies, a yoga room, a restaurant and a game room, you’ll enjoy a down day if you need it.
-

Chillan House
The densely forested village of Las Trancas is dotted with awesome little private cabins. Our friend Gonzalo owns a few of the nice ones. Cabins for 2-6 people, each with their own unique charm, and of course, old school hot tubs heated by a wood burning stove.
-

ROBLE VIEJO
A true first for Las Trancas, this stylish new retreat combines modern luxury with unbeatable location. Set beside the town’s brewery, bar, café, and pump track, and right on the way to the mountain, it puts everything within easy walking distance. Owned by a close friend of Ski The Andes - and a serious skier - this place is as legit as it gets.
-

REFUGIO LAS TRANCAS
Owned by our good friend Benja, this perfectly sized modern cabin strikes the ideal balance between privacy and proximity. Tucked just off the main road yet surrounded by forest, it feels quiet and secluded while still being less than a 10-minute walk to bars and restaurants. With four bedrooms, two living areas, a full kitchen and dining space, it’s a warm, comfortable home base for 5–7 guests who want space without being removed from the action.
-

Duub Hostel
Owned by our good friend Juampi—a true Las Trancas local, snowboarder, and musician—this unforgettable hostel is pure soul. With a whimsical Beatles-inspired musical theme, it feels like stepping into a psychedelic mountain version of Alice in Wonderland. The vibe is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly social, with a beautiful industrial kitchen for cooking, sharing meals, and spinning records late into the night. Out back, you’ll find a full barbecue zone and even an indoor stage for intimate live concerts. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience.
-

Las Bravas Lodge
This recently constructed lodge is located in the main plaza in the center of town. The accomodations are perfect and everything you could ever need is right here. There are restaurants, bars, a ski shop, a bakery, a convenience store and more across the street. This is where the whole town comes together after long cold days at the mountain to share stories, food, drink and laughs. Owned and operated by a local family who love this little forest utopia as much as you’re going to.

Vitamonti Cajon del Maipo
An intimate cluster of bougie domes set deep in Cajón del Maipo, the most dramatic backcountry terrain closest to Santiago. Each dome sleeps up to four guests, offering comfort, privacy, and immediate access to world-class ski touring in the Lo Valdés sector. A wood-fired hot tub sits just outside, beside a babbling mountain river. Don’t worry, we’ll provide your own private chef so you don’t have to lift a finger…

MAULE LAGOON
This is where the map ends.
The Maule Domes exist in pure isolation—snow, sky, silence, and stars. A wood stove, a warm shelter, and a vast, untouched world waiting just outside your door.
